Hold Monsanto's Feet to the Flames

Trump is doing the wrong thing now. He won't admit that Monsanto's glyphosate is a human carcinogen. The problem is that Monsanto is the cause of the bees dying and now the Monarch butterfly dying. Without the bees and the butterflies, all the humans will die since there will not be enough pollinators to pollinate the plants. Without the plants, humans will die and humankind will be on the endangered list. We will die and all that will be left is Mother Earth. The planet will be left to Mother Nature and humanity will be extinct and gone from this earth. Without humanity that will also kill Monsanto. No more Monsanto, no more glyphosate, and no more carcinogens.

All the money in the world will not pay off the survivors because there will be NO survivors.

No survivors equals no more population control, no more disease, and no more problems. No humans means Mother Earth will shake us off like a bad habit and the planet, its flora and fauna, will return to the same state as the Garden of Eden, except there will be no more sin because there will be no more people to sin. I guess that means no one wins. No humans means no worshipers and that means no more gods. Even Allah will have no more Muslims. The end of humanity means the end of everything -- and that is even before Full Disclosure.

I have a strong suspicion that my uncle died last year because the mole (lump) he had excised before he got brain cancer was the result of Monsanto products that contained glyphosate. I wonder if his family realizes that his death from glyphosate would mean a multimillion dollar payoff. They have a lot of money because my uncle left them a whole lot of money from all the property he amassed and sold for a whole lot of money.

The sad thing is that he died of brain cancer that his wife and oldest daughter tricked him into taking chemo, something he had told them long before he didn't want to take. Too bad for him. His wishes were ignored and his family used trickery to get him to take chemo. The chemo didn't save him and died anyway.

That is the way some families can be -- they will ignore you and do things you do not want if they can manage it by trickery. That makes me sad when people can trick people who do not want chemo into taking chemo in the form of a pill. That is a nasty turn of events. Such duplicity makes me angry. My uncle couldn't trust his family and I realize now he shouldn't have trusted them. He might have lived a little longer by taking chemo, but not even chemo could or would have cured him. He died anyway.

I thank the fates that we haven't figured out how to give butterflies or bees chemo.

Monsanto stood by while hives of bees collapsed and the scientists dithered along claiming they didn't know what was causing the bee colony collapse. I know people lie, but it seems scientists, like the ones that work for Monsanto, had no idea that their glyphosate products were the reason for bee colonies collapsing and they probably had no idea the glyphosate was a human carcinogen. At least the WHO (World Health Organization) figured out that Monsanto was the author of creating glyphosate and that is the source of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma -- or basically cancer. Yes, Monsanto needs to pay for the harm they caused, but I would prefer that Monsanto be closed and the people forced into unemployment, the board and the company scientists are thrown into jail as criminals. It doesn't mean anything if the company continues to operate and continues to create other herbicides like glyphosate.

Have you figured out what has happened in the Gulf of Mexico? Glyphosate poisoning of the gulf. It is the result of rainfall in the midwest that runs off the land and into the gulf to create the dead zone. Have we learned nothing?

The midwest suffered one of the worst known man-made disasters that sent farmers to California. The black blizzards were the result of topsoil thrown into the air, killing millions. Their lungs suffered for their mismanagement and bad farming practices. Mankind has ruined the land and the health of his fellow men with his meddling. Trump has been on the path to adding his name and his presidency to the slow and painful demise of mankind.

Might be a good time to beef up the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), follow the WHO condemnation of Monsanto in Europe, and forestall the end of mankind by holding Monsanto, its board, and its scientists responsible for what they have done to the environment and to humans. Glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen according to WHO, but I say glyphosate IS definitely a human carcinogen and all involved in glyphosate's creation and distribution should be classified as criminals of the first water.

Maybe the EPA with Trump's backing can finally link the dots and realize that Monsanto is also instrumental in bee colony collapse, the death of Monarch butterflies, and the source of the runoff in the Midwest that has killed the ecosystem of the Gulf of Mexico. Those are the crimes of which Monsanto is guilty and Trump needs to do something about it. Beef up the EPA, fun research here in the United States, and hold Monsanto's feet to the fire. Yes, the NASDAQ will take a few hits, but the extinction of the human species trumps Wall Street.

Don't you agree?

Mr. Dickens and His Carol

Written by Samantha Silva, a debut novel, and her writing is very good.

I was intrigued by the title of the book and because I have always loved Dickens, especially A Christmas Carol.  Who does not remember Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim? God bless us every one.

To be able to virtually enter the author's mind (in this case for several days -- and years) was illuminating and a serious look into someone's mind at his lowest point. Martin Chuzzlewit was a failure -- a colossal failure. His publishers demanded Dickens write a Christmas book.

Dickens was forced to write a happy Christmas book. Dickens was not feeling charitable. His wife and children felt they could not live with him and so she took all the children, including the newborn boy, to Scotland to visit her parents and to get away from the Dickens they did not recognize. Charles had no choice in the matter, having been forced to write the damn Christmas book and have it ready for the public by Christmas day. It didn't help that he could not write, not even when he went walkabout through the city he knew and loved, a walkabout that had refreshed him in years -- and books -- past.

Nothing had helped Dickens less -- as his fellow writers wished. Fellow writers, especially Thackeray, accused him of his method of writing happily ever afters. Dickens was, Thackeray said, always writing happy stories, taking problems that seemed insurmountable and giving them happy endings, and writing happy stories.

I am not contracted to a publisher who had the say to force me to write a book I never wanted by a time I could not meet, but I did not write in longhand and I did not live in the 1800s. I am not a contemporary of Dickens or Thackeray or the other famous and well known authors of the latter 1800s. I don't have a publisher demanding I write a happy Christmas book. I have a family with siblings that ignore me until I write anything that shines a light on their lives that shows them in a realistic light when they would prefer I write nothing but good about them. I don't write about them much at all -- unless they do something to me or put me on a shelf where they can devil me, shame me, or blame me and put me in a bad light.

My siblings would prefer I write nothing at all, unless it is something that leaves them out of it. Oh, well, a writer (me especially) who needs a theme to work around -- or write around.

I don't go on walkabouts. I seldom walk far. I did yesterday to open a new bank account across the street so I can get away from the banking protocol that 5/3 uses that places me behind the 8 ball, taking up more than half of my social security salary with charges they pay ($37) or reject ($37). Those charges add up quickly at $37 a hit. I couldn't get a money order or cashier's check from the bank across the street because I didn't bank with them and my bank closed their office here in Urbana last month. I wasn't notified. Maybe I would have known if I had been reading the newspaper every day -- or working for them as a writer, but I did not know. I'm still unemployed and haven't heard a single word from any of my applications, resumes, and letters written to any business or publishing concern here in Urbana. It would be different if I had a car or could drive here, but I do not. In short, if I had been able to get to Stow when BB promised me months ago, I would have a car or at least a job, by now.

If you want people to think you're nice be nice.

I am stuck where Dickens found himself -- plotting the murder of relatives and not writing the Christmas book -- or blog -- I would prefer to write. My Christmas spirit has flown and the ghosts of the past, present, and future haunt me every day. I am nearly destitute, but none of my grandchildren will notice, nor will my siblings, because I cannot afford to send them even a handmade gift or card. I have plenty of stamps, but have no funds to make a card or gift and so Christmas from me will be a very poor season or day this year. I've nothing to send even St. Jude's, Wounded Warriors, or even Shriners Hospitals or the ASPCA as I would normally do this time of year. I have no funds to spend and no funds to even give to the charities I have supported in the past. I will have to be absent this year. Please give to these charities for me. Let your emotions be your guide at this Christmas season and give to St. Jude, Wounded Warriors, Shriners hospitals, and the ASPCA to save those poor souls from neglect and abuse.

While I cannot give or support these charities, please support these people and animals for nothing more than the spirit of the season. I hope you will share your funds with these charities, but let me share your pride and accomplishment even though I cannot support them with more than my own good wishes and hopes. I believe that will be enough at this season -- hoping and praying that my good wishes and good thoughts are enough with your help.

If you want a book to read this year, begin with A Christmas Carol and follow that with Mr. Dickens and his Christmas Carol by Samantha Silva.

Or you could spend Christmas day watching A Christmas Story with Ralphie as Mary Ann does every year. Spend your holidays as you choose and make those around you happy with your good wishes and gifts. Be nice, be generous, and be good for the season's sake. And for your own sake as well.

That is all. Disperse.

Immigrants or Zombies?

The problems with being lazy is that old put up or shut up dilemma. Much like Trump's wall. We — or at least Trump — sees the wall as being a way to keep immigrants from jumping the border fences or climbing over them.

What if the problem were zombies?

I think that is what the zombie movies and zombie books is really all about — unwanted and uninvited beings attacking and/or entering our borders.

What if zombies were streaming across our borders and we (Trump) wanted to keep them out? Trump said Mexico would pay for the border fence, but now it seems as if that is the top salesman's imagined dream — delusion — wish.

Substitute zombies for illegal immigrants and the picture changes.

The United States of America is not an embattled population fighting off zombies, but a sovereign state that has not (and will not) passed socialized medicine. That goes against our (America's) grain. We believe in the highly competitive marketplace of the single payer system. "But the payer does not own the doctors or the hospitals or the nurses or the MRI scanners." That quote comes from the Washington Post and was written by Ezra Klein.

Well, you will say, socialized medicine is not the same as building a wall to keep out illegal immigrants.

Isn't it? I beg to differ.

The Democratic party wants to open all borders and let immigrants come freely into any country on the planet regardless of their behavior or their needs. After all, Canada has socialized medicine, and so does most of Europe. Immigration was no problem when Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany, opened her arms and welcomed the hordes of Muslims to her door. Justin Trudeau, current president of Canada, opens his arms and welcomes all immigrants — no matter who or what they are. All are welcome, he says. But Canada and Germany both have socialized medicine — as do most of the western European countries. The UK similarly opens its arms and welcomes the Muslim hordes to its shores — and welcomes the Muslim hordes to their socialized medicine with equal affability, which is why there are hordes of Muslims living in the UK battling for recognition and setting off bombs while assassins murder their people wherever — as in the Ariana Grande concert where 22 fans died and 59 fans were wounded. The attack was perpetrated by a suicide bomber — a Muslim suicide bomber.

Similar attacks have ravaged Europe since the refugee Muslims from the Middle East and Africa, among other countries, fled to the relative safety of Europe. Muslims have been welcomed throughout Europe where suicide bombers have attacked Paris, the UK, and other cities throughout the world. Even Canada has dealt with the terrorist attacks as has the USA when a lone Muslim gunman attacked the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The gunman was Muslim, but was carrying out the dictates of his Muslim beliefs when he gunned down 49 49 and wounded 53.

America has not escaped terror attacks. A Muslim couple gunned down employees where the man worked in San Bernardino and two young Muslim men set off a bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Tamerlan Tsarnaev died, but his brother, Dzhokhar, three other acquaintances relative Ibragim Tsarnaev were implicated and arrested.

Then there was the Army psychiatrist, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, at Fort Hood, Texas who gunned down 12 and wounded 31. He was a Muslim, born in Virginia, but was not happy about his deployment to Iraq.
Noting the Arabic nature of the gunman’s name, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Washington interest group, condemned “this cowardly attack in the strongest terms possible and ask that the perpetrators be punished to the full extent of the law.”
”No political or religious ideology could ever justify or excuse such wanton and indiscriminate violence,” the council said in a statement. “The attack was particularly heinous in that it targeted the all-volunteer army that protects our nation. American Muslims stand with our fellow citizens in offering both prayers for the victims and sincere condolences to the families of those killed or injured.”
Talk is cheap, but the facts begin to show the danger of immigration — legal or illegal. These immigrants are as dangerous as a zombie apocalypse. The difference is obvious — or it is not. Zombies are mindless corpses with the drive to eat human flesh or brain — depending which authority you follow in zombie literature. It's rather like the difference between which news service you follow — the world news or the US news. President Trump believes the US news, which can be co-opted and is at the beck and call of whichever power (political or oligarch) controls the funding, or even which puppeteer is pulling the strings (the celebrity powers that be — Harvey Weinstein, Clintons, Bushes, Cosby, or Obama), which is really the same thing. Substitute zombies craving human flesh or brains with Muslims, illegal immigrants, or mentally ill terrorists and the result — outcome — is the same. Death and terror.
If Stephen King had written The Stand during these times, the invading evil might well have been illegal immigrants or zombie hordes instead of the flu that kills more than the usual and more natural 10% of the Earth's population, decimating the medical system, and throwing the population back to a more primitive state where nuclear bombs would leave the planet a burned out cinder instead of plunging us into yet another Dark Age where the remaining life on this planet would be mutated by the nuclear fallout and residual nuclear contamination of this, our Earth.
In the end, whether the fence is built to keep out illegal immigrants or zombies, it must be built and we, the people of the United States, must quash our political differences and build the fence to keep the US borders safe from being over run by whomever — or whatever. We cannot keep out the plague such as Stephen King imagined when he wrote The Stand because plagues cannot be kept out by fences. Not even being overrun by zombies as in the zombie apocalypse can a fence protect us as the walls surrounding enclaves where humans live unmolested and we, the people, have no Rodrigo de Bivar (El Cid) to bring together the Muslims who have become a part of the country's population as they did during the time of El Cid to battle the African hordes bent on jihad streaming up from Africa
In the end, whether the fence will be built (if it will be built by Trump in his desire to keep the illegal immigrants out), the fence will have to include funds obtained by whatever means (taxes, tariffs, or payments to live, which Islam calls dhimmitude and the Spanish Inquisition called conversos. Torquemada did his best to convert as many Jews as possible or they were sent to the fire (auto-da-fe). The only other opportunity for Jews during the Inquisition was to flee to Turkey where Caliph Bayezit took them in and allowed them to pay the dhimmi tax (payment that allowed Christians and/or Jews to retain and practice their religion).
Here in the USA, we require immigrants to legally immigrate or be marginalized by being illegal while feeding off the social teat (Welfare), their children becoming American citizens if they are born here in the US where they will by birth claim all rights of a US citizen though their parents sneaked across the border, defying our immigration laws, and taking from us, the US citizens, all they can get by right of birth — rather like Caliph Bayezit of Turkey who took in the Jews when they fled Spain in order to continue to practice their religion and beliefs, for which they paid dhimmitude to Bayezit.
Islam had a hand in Adolph Hitler's Final Solution and Jews, gypsies, and Christians — as well as other undesirables — were sent to relocation camps, lined up, gave up their money, jewels, portraits, and all property which reverted to the state — Nazis fled to Argentina with their booty (goods stripped from gas chamber victims, right down to the gold in their teeth) and lived in luxury until the social revolution caught up with them or Simon Wiesenthal and other Nazi hunters made them pay for their atrocities in blood.
Will Trump follow Hitler (and tax the invaders) or Bayezit who enriched his country and the ultimate Ottoman expansion of Islam with dhimmitude? Or will Trump follow Jefferson's example and welcome the immigrants of the caravan, folding them into our population, doling out Welfare much the same as socialized countries like Canada and Europe, or refuse to accept immigrant children born on American soil as full US citizens? Basically, it is a question of doling out Welfare to illegal immigrants and accepting their children born in the US as citizens with voting rights and free access to Welfare, food stamps, and such. In a sense, the USA is socialized sufficiently, especially  with Welfare, food stamps, and such. Though the USA and Trump do not believe in socialized medicine, they do believe that a person's hard work will be rewarded, and that is also true in socialized countries where the rich can afford to jump to the head of the socialized medicine list and get what they need without the constant waiting and endless hurdles that must be clambered over to get that social medicine — or the eventual collapse of the socialized medicine framework as it has in the UK and throughout Europe under the onslaught of Muslims who continue to breed more children with multiple wives and/or rape Christians, Jews, and undesirables and seeding them with future Muslims  — or in this case the onslaught of the caravan with its children, women, and men migrating north to escape the oppression and poverty of their home countries.
It comes down to morality. You can save one person by allowing them access to medical care or treating 100 people by providing access to social medicine. It is rather like the dilemma I face every day where $19 will help wounded warriors, children with cancer or birth defects, senior citizens down on their luck and forcibly retired, or animals dealing with inclement weather, starvation, and/or abuse. I would help them all if it were left up to me, but I am hampered by my limited social security and having to pay $37 every time I let sentiment and morality take precedence over the need and desire to work and contribute with the remainder of my strength and time. I would rather use my talents to speak my mind and change ideas and hearts and not fall into Trump's abyss by tweeting everything that comes into my mind and heart.
Trump is the President of the United States, the leader of our democratic country of we, the people, and head of the Armed Forces who has a quixotic relation to the truth (in the news or from himself) and he has pledged to build the wall to keep our borders strong against the invading hordes of immigrants who are all too willing to travel hundreds of miles through dangerous and ill hospitable land just to enter illegally. They might as well be zombies when it comes down to it.
Zombies don't ask for citizenship or expect to vote and over burden our social services. Zombies only ask to feed on our flesh and scrape brains from our bodies to feed their need. No matter what movies and television depict, the end result is the same. Death to the host and infection for all who come into contact with their ravenous needs. That is the aim of the Democrats whose desire to use the illegal immigrants to boost their ideology and enrich their status. The result is Maxine Waters living in a million-dollar mansion and not within the area where people voted for her, Bill and HIllary Clinton living off the proceeds and tainted blood from convicts that infected recipients with AIDS and hepatitis and the possibility of pregnancy when raped by Bill or drugged into a receptive state and raped by Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein exacting sexual favors for a part in a movie, and the list goes on. It all comes down to morality, which translates into the politics of government and sexuality. We choose one person — or thing over another — and often the determination is determined by the individual's morality and ethics — or the individual politics. No matter what or why these United States of America were conceived, our forefathers believed that we, the people, were ultimately responsible for our own individual ethics and morality.
The Constitution and the laws of this land lead the way and we individuals must follow their beliefs into the future where our morality and ethics blaze forth from our shining city on the hill — no matter who is in residence.
Ultimately, whether or not we build the wall, no matter who funds it, we will hold true to our moral principles and personal ethics no matter which party or individual sits in the Oval Office.
I blanched when I heard that some writer had ruined Pride and Prejudice by adding zombies, but what I found was zombies that actually fit into the classic penned by Jane Austen.
Zombies or illegal immigrants? What is the difference in the end?
That is all Disperse.

Frog or Scorpion?

We should be careful to climb on the back of a scorpion, but we should also be careful of becoming a scorpion or a frog in need of a ride across a river blocking our path. We should not attack needlessly. We should also be far more tolerant when we hear and see something that trips our triggers.
We should also be honest and not end up playing the telephone game where we whisper a simple sentence in our partner's ear while sitting in a circle. What we begin with is seldom what comes out at the end of the game.
We should not gossip and we should not repeat information that seems right but isn't right. That is where the fake news comes in, especially when respected journalists are little more than gossipmongers spreading what they believe is right, but have not checked (researched) to see is right.
Like the story going around that tear gas was fired into a crowd and children were at risk.
That story is not correct. No, we have not endangered children -- or their parents -- for coming illegally into our country. Tear gas was fired. That is correct But tear gas was fired at the chain link fence that separates our land from Mexico's border. It was not fired specifically and directly at illegal immigrants -- or anyone. It was fired at the fence to keep immigrants from climbing the fence and illegally broaching our U.S. border.
Got that? Tear gas was fired at the border so immigrants would not enter illegally -- a deterrent not a direct attack on the immigrants. Parents who have brought their children on this caravan should watch out for their children and not put their children in danger -- which they have failed to do from the beginning.
Yes, their actions are from the political unrest, but mostly their actions are from a desire to better themselves -- we hope. Sadly, when immigrants throw the food and necessities of life onto the ground because they are not being given 'the best' then their desire for a better life becomes less believable -- much like the story of tear gas tossed into crowds. That did NOT happen. That is a lie meant to discredit and stir up animosity at Trump. Bad idea.
Trump is not the brightest and best of presidents because he has far too much ego. But Trump was not elected because he was the most popular and most ethical (just like Obama was supposed to be the most popular and ethical -- and wasn't). Trump is the response to the hope and change that Obama preacified but did not deliver. Campaign rhetoric seldom comes down to what is but what if.
After 8 years of lies and promises, we, the people of the United States, wanted a change -- a far right shift from a definitely far left position. Trump has been asked to run before, but he didn't. The only thing that could have motivated such a drastic shift was the drastic shift that Obama demonstrated. To continue to follow the same disastrous shift that Obama demonstrated, the Democrats will lose again.
Democrats have the right idea -- finally -- of bettering the nation, but as someone who is very adaptable to changes, I don't recommend dramatic change, but the smaller, easier changes that most people can accommodate.
Obama was a liar.
Trump plays fast and loose with the truth. What salesman have you ever encountered who does not play fast and loose with the truth? Car salesmen for instance, especially of the secondhand vehicles. Gilding the lily is the basis for all transactions.
I would prefer Trump not tweet his every thought and I would prefer Obama go back to the hole he crawled out of, but my preferences are not at issue. I would also prefer that Democrats grow up and get real. Bernie Sanders, for all of his 'ideas' about what we can and cannot afford with regard to health care, education, etc. is not at all realistic. He is a dreamer -- a dreamer we cannot afford.
In the end, we are back to the scorpion and the frog. The frog needs to get across the river, but he does not need to get across the river by climbing on the back of the scorpion because he will die when the scorpion strikes. The scorpion is acting according to its nature. So in this scenario -- Trump versus Obama. -- which is the scorpion?
Before you assume I voted Trump, let me stop you. I did not vote for Trump. I thought he was a clown hogging the center ring of a three-ring circus. He has done little to change my opinion of him. The clown is not the scorpion. Obama is the scorpion. He hides his basic nature beneath a charming exterior, but he has not fooled me. He is the scorpion and I prefer to avoid scorpions and not get stung. Trump is more a bee -- annoying and potentially dangerous since I am allergic to bee stings, but not fatal if I keep my Epi-Pen handy.
So, no, Trump did not order tear gas to be lobbed into the crowd, endangering children. The soldiers lobbed tear gas at the fence which the caravan would have climbed to gain illegal access to our country, forcing us, the United States people, to deal with them. If the immigrants do not wish to illegally enter this country, especially against the law and against the peoples' wishes, they could have stepped back out of harm's way, protected their children, and not have to breathe the tear gas. They should have protected their children and sought to make changes in their home countries and not forced entry here in the United States.
But then the immigrants put their wishes and desires before their children and before anyone who gets in the way. Me, me, me, me, me is all they want. They care about themselves more than anything or anyone. They are already Democrats who talk a good game, but when it comes down to the rub, they are all talk and no sensible action.

In this fable, Obama is the scorpion and Trump is the hapless, albeit politically naive frog. Trump let his ego lead him when Bill Clinton, another scorpion, egged him into the political area, and Hillary, another scorpion -- small but lethal -- and more naive than Trump urged Trump on because she was sure the American people would vote for her and she would handily beat Trump. Hillary is the deadliest scorpion of all, but her ego mitigates her sting.

Frog or scorpion? You choose. I'll adapt as I always have because I was raised by a scorpion with more naievete and ego than Hillary.

That is all. Disperse.

The Future is Here

I go through a process when hurdles pop up. I panic a little then step back and consider the problem from a different perspective and then, when I'm done weighing the options, I act. I seldom act in haste until I've weighed the options and see where things are taking me. That is what I did when I left Colorado, seeming to all and sundry to have acted in haste. It may have seemed that way, but I act quickly when I've weighed the options.

I was in a similar state of muddle before I acted and considered asking for help from my friends and my sons with regard to my current situation. Then one of the residents came home last night and told her about her young relative who had just lost her father and she didn't know what to do or where to turn. For all intents and purposes, Sue's relative had lost the only father she knew, though he had been sick and in and out of the hospital recently. She had no idea what to do about the funeral and Sue was encouraging her to move away from Kentucky, the only home she had known, away from her friends and support group, and come here to Urbana -- or at least to this community to be with her family. Sue and her children and their children are the woman's family. Sue's relative has a readymade support system that she does not know. She wants to stay in Kentucky where she has lived with her father until he died (he was not her legal father, but her father for all real intents and purposes). she has worked at a local job there for 11 years and doesn't want to leave her friends, her community, or her job to be near family. I don't blame her. She has every reason and her support system to stay in Kentucky in the community where she has lived.

Though her father is gone, she still has to pay for his funeral and I will assume he did not leave a will or an insurance policy. She has set up a GoFundMe project to pay for everything. Luckily, because of the holiday season, she has had several people willing to send her money through GoFundMe and will be able to make a dent in the funeral arrangements. I do hope she has not succumbed to the usual fear that she must give her father a costly burial, which is where most funeral homes get you. The funeral home directors and employees are only doing their job by talking grieving relatives into the more expensive send-offs because they are in effect business people and that is their job -- to talk you into buying a package that would do the deceased proud. What should be a two thousand dollar funeral will end up being eight thousand and very likely more funeral to do the deceased up proud. That is how funeral homes make money -- by talking the grieving relatives into doing the deceased up proud. Guilt is a great motivator during times of grief.

Luckily, I cannot under the rules of Medicare purchase or pay for a final needs insurance policy because the government would be obliged to confiscate the policy, just as the government would take all the ready cash I have and leave me with no more than $30 cash in my pocket or in my bank account. That is what the government does if you fall under the Medicaid umbrella. You have to pay for the government taking care of you unless you have a financial wizard in your support system who knows where and how to hide your ready cash.

It is only fair. You have to pay the government back if you are going to use the government as a fall-back position or rely on the government to take care of your final needs. It's like health care. You cannot get socialized health care unless someone foots the bill -- like with much higher taxes. So, no matter what Democrats say (and what Bernie Sanders promised) there is no get unless someone else gives. Look at the tax rates in the socialized medicine countries in Europe and you will begin to see what is really going on. Imagine living in a socialized medicine country where everyone's taxes are 50% or higher, systems which are collapsing under the weight of the uncontrolled immigration of Muslims from the Middle East and Africa because the Muslims have lots of children that must be supported by the socialized medicine and cannot pay into the system because minors (children) have no income and thus cannot pay taxes to prop up the socialized medicine system.

The UK's system has already collapsed. Doctors and medical personnel are opting for the private sector and the UK is begging students to train and choose medicine to prop up the failing system. Nurses, aides, doctors, etc. are in short supply because they are opting for private practice and the money they as medical professionals can command in the private sector. I'm certain Angela Merkel's open-handed generosity when she opened her borders and said "Come on in," to the immigrant horde swarming northward from what Obama called fleeing from Climate Change in their home countries and becoming a horde of anarchists and criminals as they settled into communities that cater to the migrant hordes of widows and children of Muslim refugees straining Europe's failing socialized medical system with their hands out and their murderous Islamic violence intact, hiding the bombs, knives, guns, and Muslim ideology savaging the European population that had taken in their widows and orphans in the spirit of generosity and kindness.

What the news reporters won't show you are the rape gangs out for recruits to their Islamic hordes or the bombings, knifings, and murders that accompany the Islamic hordes (mostly young males hopped up on Islamic hate and convinced that Mohammed was right, that the Muslims (good Islamic young males sworn to the cause that Mohammed set out when he created his religion  and subjugated nearly two-thirds of the Western Christian and Jewish world). It is all about the spread of Islam and jihad, which youngsters are taught from the earliest age.

Islam nearly conquered Europe in the years before the 20th century and will finish the job if left unchecked. Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of hate and jihad. How is that consistent with the socialized Europe that opened its arms to immigration? Muslims were the authors of Hitler's final solution, but Germany did their level best putting together the Holocaust.  There is nothing like German technology, Hitler's hatred of Jews, and the even greater hatred of Islam for the Jews. In this regard, Hitler partnered not only with Japan and Mussolini, but with Islam to rid Europe of the Jews. Nothing like multitasking to do the job all while stealing as much of what the Jews had accumulated of the centuries to see off to see their nefarious ends paid for.

Well, this has nothing to do with Sue's young relative grieving for her father now deceased. I have suggested Sue's relative ask for a leave of absence and come here to Urbana to grieve and lick her wounds. She would be near family and would be able to grieve and heal for a time while testing the waters and deciding on the next step on her chosen path.

Yes, she has a rough row to hoe, but she will mend and will eventually find her place in the scheme of things -- whether it is here or in Kentucky. She will have the support of her family and that is a good thing.

I have to laugh. The college counselor asked me yesterday what support system I had in place to help me through study and college. I had to answer none. I have no family and no familial support, but that is as it has always been. I don't have the grief Sue's young relative has because this lack Yet I am still here and the depression is gone because I have found the ketogenic lifestyle (often called nutritional ketosis) and depression is far behind me.

BB would not admit that such was the case, but Mom often told me things that she meant for only me to hear, so BB would not know because I wrote it in my paper journals and did not share my depression, sadness, or the abuse I suffered with her. She didn't share with me either. Typical sibling rivalry -- we didn't talk. BB shares her thoughts with our cousin, Laura, and probably commiserates with Beanie and the Mushroom on Messengers or similar methods while at work or by their smart phones.

My once close relationship with Beanie has disintegrated since her marriage to Dan. He knew nothing of me because I lived in Colorado and only new of me the one time Beanie stopped by her (actually his) home when she picked me up and dropped me at a cheap motel in Washington Court House where I stayed until I finally ended up in Rehab and then went to my first apartment on Kingsford in Columbus.

I kept a low profile and upset Beanie who was doing my laundry (incontinence issues) and then dropping it at my motel before she raced home to be with her husband. I saw my nephews (Cody and Ants) once and her stepson, Daniel, also once, but Beanie had her job and she worked full time. She didn't have time for me; she had a husband who needed her and he had forbidden her to waste her energy and time dancing attendance on me.

And so I sat watching TV alone, venturing out some days with a taxi driver I'd made friends with, Joe, who took me by his mother's home to visit her and then took me back to the motel. Joe took me to Columbus to apply for the apartment I eventually got and he went back to Washington Court House to live his life.

Beanie couldn't understand why I didn't check out more apartments. How about because I didn't have sufficient funds to do so?

Carol at least took me to check out Messiah Community where I now live and where I spend time alone, though I will soon be studying to take the CLEP tests (what my advisor calls the Fast Track) to opt out of some of my college requirements. I'll take the exams (at least the English 104 exam) on January 1, 2019 and have been told I will get some of my grant money back to be paid into my account. I will be taking 4 classes: 2 math and 1 criminal justice -- and must pass and so I will study until I take the exams in January. I will do all four and will study from now until then. I only need to pass at 70%, but would prefer to do a whole lot better than that.

I've finished my FAFSA (financial aid forms for college) and I will also get a federal grant because of my Dad's military service -- 22 years in the Army. I'll apply for scholarships and other grants as we go along, but I will do my best to take or get as few loans as possible. I don't want to mire myself in horrendous debt at the start.

And so I go forward. Might still pick up the graphic arts later on or I might just throw my hat into the ring and get right to it in politics. That decision should help with volunteering and working with women and seniors. At this point, I am game for anything.

That is all. Disperse.

Running Out of Options?

Still looking for work. I was just rejected by a company because they rejected me for not following their preferred method of captioning. No conversation. No ifs, ands, or buts. Rejected.

I might have curled up and died or even chalked the rejection of me and my lack of fitting into their employment model because I was coming down with Alzheimer's, but that is not my way and not the way I think. I have been keto for over a year and thus my mental agility is not in question because keto improves the brain. I've also begun sketching and relearning my drawing skills once again. I've started by copying comics because that is easy (sort of) and quickly learned -- at least for me. I have a sketchbook and pencils, but I need a pencil sharpener to put a point on the pencils. I cannot afford a sharpener of any kind because I only have my social security income to live on and right now, though it will increase by 2.8% in January, it is not enough. I haven't finished clearing out all the previous demands on my income from when I had a job and that is costing me $37 a hit and eating into the following month's social security income. No wonder my sisters question me about why I came back to Ohio and BB bullies and bashes me for my spur of the moment choice.

Maybe it was a questionable choice (according to BB), but I didn't want to wait to make the decision and not make the move because it would be better later. I am here and Colorado is behind me. Maybe I should have consulted my sons and moved closer to them, but I doubt the bullying and bashing would not have been any better. They have lied about me for years, telling their side of the story to cover their own tracks -- and I get that, but I would not like begging them for a little money or hoping they will be far more generous than the rest of my family has been. Beanie can be excluded from that generosity because she was generous in the beginning before her husband, Dan, saw me as a negative in Beanie's life and Beanie did not stand up for me. I get it. She was tired and worn out by working her day job, doing my laundry because I was debilitated and incontinent, and she does not consider me a priority or even a family member now that she has her own family -- husband, Dan, and stepchildren Daniel and Jordan.

Maybe I'm being too harsh because the Mushroom and BB let her take care of Dad, driving him to his appointments and visiting him every day because she lived closer to our parents then. That was a job they had always believe I would fill because I had no husband and no children living at home and should've taken care of my parents. That is not what I chose when they told me that was my job when I lived in Colorado. I was not going to finally be admitted into the family and take care of my parents when they, the biological spawn of our mother, decided it was time to do my duty. Nope. No. Nyet. No Way Jose.

Dad died and BB finally took Mom into her own home because she was considered the oldest child. They had already ruled me out and cast me from the family. Sorry that you didn't consider me family member enough until you wanted to foist our parents' care and keeping on me, the adopted daughter, when it came time.

But I have been cast out -- or shelved or whatever you call it -- here in Urbana because it is close to BB's home, except that BB doesn't visit because she works for a living. I don't work for a living because that was taken out of my hands January 5, 2018 when Beanie had me taken to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a laundry list of things that the doctors decided I had but never actually found. I was conveniently shelved and eventually handed with a $12,000+ bill that Medicare has not yet signed off on and collection companies have already been beating at my door in spite of having only my sociable security as one Steven King character called it.

So I continue looking for a job while being intermittently hounded by colleges and universities dangling federal and state grants while they try to fit me into whatever debt hole they are trying to fill. Sorry, but I won't fall into your trap, not this year, and not this time. I will look for continuing education here in Urbana because I have access to free transport living here in Messiah Community. I wish I had a car, but that won't happen until BB or Crystal or someone will drive me to Stow to get the warrant off my driving privileges, which won't happen any time soon if I have to rely on others for transportation. I cannot afford to pay for a driver because I am held hostage by my lack of income, which is enough to pay for the ever-mounting $37 charges every month, eating up my income before I even get it -- and my bank was closed here in Urbana and the building given over to the City of Urbana for their own personal use. No bank within driving distance and I cannot drive since I don't have a car and don't have the ability to clear my license without a trip to Stow.
If I hadn't been honest with BB and told her I didn't have a drivers license, only a state ID card, maybe she would have relented and let me drive or loaned me one of her several cars. But, no, I was honest and here I am shelved and ignored or forgotten here in Urbana where the possibilities are fast shrinking.
What I really need is enough money  to get clear of the mounting bank charges by a nonexistent in Urbana bank and I cannot ask my family since that would end with bullying and bashing because I left Colorado and moved here to be in my home state near my family which has also disappeared or think about me less often than the copy of Forever Amber on BB's bookshelf.
I suppose I could mount a Go Fund Me campaign but sending money to a senior citizen for food and charges would be met with the same blank stare I get from a photo of BB or Beanie or the Mushroom on the Internet. I could ask my children, but that would be as welcome as a shit storm in the middle of August. After all, why would they help their mother since she is the dregs of the earth according to what I've been told of their lies about me? Probably a snowball's chance in Hell come to that.
I won't beg and I won't ask friends that have become closer than family to me because I'm not done looking for a job. I will wash dishes, bus tables, clean streets, or empty trash. I will do all I can and hope to be paid for it. I started out as a child shoveling sidewalks, driveways, and paths and asked for nothing but what the recipient of my work ethic could or would afford me. I was once paid a whole dime after shoveling front and back walks and the driveway for one old lady and the dime was a shiny silver dime that I pocketed, thanked her, and went to the next person on the street. I enjoyed those times when someone paid me with a home baked chocolate cookie and smiled broadly when someone paid me with folding money.
In a sense, I am in the same position, but I am not a child hoping to do something good for the neighbors. I am a senior citizen who has been ignored, shelved, or cast aside for choosing to leave Colorado and come back to Ohio, a decision I am beginning to regret and question. I am a rootless wanderer who has no family to speak of hoping for a break. What can I do now? I've stopped all pre-arranged charges coming from my meager account and I pray that someone -- anyone -- will see my willingness to work at anything. I can see now that honesty is not always the best policy when honesty can be fashioned into a weapon and used to beat someone down.
That is all. Disperse.

Majel Roddenberry carries the torch forward

I watched some of Andromeda this morning and it was all about the women -- the place they hold and how important they are to Dylan Hunt and to the universe. I think that Roddenberry's torch has been passed to a strong, intelligent, and informed woman. I'll even bet that Nurse Chapel didn't get controlled or silenced by her husband. She was, after all, the mother of a natural telepath and telepathic herself.

I do believe that Lwaxana Troi wasn't as sex crazy as she was portrayed. Must have been Harvey Weinstein's approach to women -- that they are only good for a quick tumble on their backs that had more to do with Troi's libidinous attitudes and morals. I cannot imagine that telepathic women would be so immoral and openly libidinous.

I think telepathic women would be horrified and disgusted if they read males' minds. When I was younger, I thought it would relieve the fear and stress that comes when women meet men and don't know what the man wants -- or should want. I know better now.

Men want sex -- all the time and with anyone they find attractive. That is fine for homosexuals because men want sex all the time and be attracted to the guy with a face and body like the one you hope to have or already have would be simple. It wouldn't work for procreation, but it would satisfy most male instincts. Of course, the fatties, baldies, and flaming types would lose out, but they already do. After all, it is according to the current Muslim belief. Men are for sex and women are for breeding -- keeping the homosapien species alive.

I would call foul on that belief -- and so do the Muslims since they behead homosexuals and those who practice that belief either hide in mountain fastnesses or sneak out in western cities and countries to the nearest gay bar. How can anyone live with himself or herself if at your core you are attracted to men and women when it is a beheading offense.

Then again, choosing your own path or becoming an adherent to a different faith will also get you killed. Why do you think Muslims force women to hide their bodies and faces? Can't have the faithful taunted and teased by a breeding cow when you have work to do and dollars (or money in whatever form) to earn.

I am an intelligent and informed woman, but I was only fantasizing about Islam and their Persian myths and magic when I was a child. I grew up, but I still find magic fascinating. Not so much any more. Magic is nothing like Jeanne from the series I Dream of Jeanne. The series also got the spelling wrong. It is Djinni and not Jeanne. But I am no longer a child and maybe Mom was right when she thought that all I wrote in my diary was sex: wishing to have sex, wondering about sex, or at least blaming her because I couldn't have sex.

She read my diary, ferreting it out from where I hid it, and later Beanie let her have access to the years of journals I left behind in her care. Mom read them all. I was upset at first, but then I realized that I had written nothing Mom couldn't read -- not even my questions and wondering about religion and god and the occasional question about mom -- but it wasn't about sex; I already knew all I needed to know about sex. I wasn't having any of it and didn't want to let myself go that far. I was ungettable, but could be coerced (raped) or seduced mostly with kisses and caresses.

Mom was quite surprised and I think a little disappointed that she wasn't the central focus of my journals. She didn't figure that much in my writings. My writings were more about the nature of god and the real reason behind what was written and I was taught in the Bible. I'll bet she was very surprised that my thoughts were on a more philosophical plane and sex wasn't on that plane. Ha!

Although men think almost constantly about sex (and so did I when my hormones were at their highest levels), sex isn't that important in the end. Some women grow out of that phase and move on. Men are horn dogs and just don't move out of that phase unless they are so libidinous as not to be able to think or act without sex as the focus -- like Weinstein. That is what got Clinton in trouble -- his inability to be around women without wanting to have them (or rape them when his power wasn't enough of a seductive draw). That's why homosexuals are beheaded in Islam -- because they cannot be controlled when sex is in the mix. If a man has sex on his mind all the time, he is a danger to the rest of the community, especially men (or at least young men who haven't yet gotten their beards). Better to behead them than to lose the whole community or the whole congregation in the end. Suddenly, I get the reason for beheading homosexuals. There is no such punishment for lesbians, unless I am sadly mistaken. Men do not usually find lesbians threatening. They find lesbians titillating and want to join in. Sex with women is not forbidden. After all, the man might find his penis in someone's vagina and 9 months later that vagina attached to the poked woman will increase the number of hopefully men -- or at least a comely male child that can be trained to fight and behead other homosexuals. I think I finally get the whole thing.

In Judaism and Christianity, homosexualism is a sin, but it doesn't result in the sinner's immediate beheading. Death comes after years and God decides when that is. Supposedly, the sinner will burn in hell for all eternity -- a hellish punishment but only after a long life of sinning and flouting the laws God gave. I think I like that kind of punishment. Put off today and reap punishment in the end.

Or be a Muslim and reap punishment now -- beheading. I think I get it -- at last. This is why I meander and think while I write -- I figure things out.

In Islam if you cannot control them behead them or cover them with a hijab. It is still control, but beheading is a much more final method of control.

Myths Die Hard

I watched Recipe Rehab this morning and they are still touting the myth that fat makes you fat and is unhealthy. Granted, the show employs a nutritionist who is still teaching what s/he learned when coming up through the ranks in health medicine and is still teaching the chosen members of the Recipe Rehab weekly members to have their recipes rehabbed to be scored by the nutritionist and the chosen family to give up their old unhealthy recipe and try rehabbed recipes by chef Richard and chef Vikki. Some of the rehabbed recipes look and seem quite tasty. The only problem is that the nutritionist still marks down the recipes when there is too much fat -- because fat will make you fat.

Unfortunately, fat does not make you fat, but the potatoes and wheat will continue to make you fat. Go to Recipe Rehab's website and you will see that they (along with the current nutritionists' advice and the FDA food pyramid) cite that exchanging the white bread for the fuller flavor of whole wheat bread. That is still the old thinking that people must have bread, and whole wheat bread is better for you than the old-fashioned white bread that once was the epitome of wealth and taste. It took a few hundred years to change that myth -- white bread is better for you than whole wheat bread. How long will it take for physicians and nutritionists to get the message that dropping wheat, and all cereal grains, from the FDA pyramid.

A recent commercial asking if you want to put your fat food choices behind you and get rid of the fat -- by following their diet plan. The problem is as I have said for quite some time the problem isn't your fat food choices, but the bread (whole wheat or white bread) is the problem. Since vendors who have been making multimillions by pushing their wheat products and inserted them into every meal from breakfast to lunch and dinner and making people fat. Not the fat they have eaten or their choices of fat-dripping chicken thighs and hamburgers or hot dogs, but the bread the thighs, hamburgers, and hot dogs are wrapped in or around and stuffed with like Thanksgiving turkeys. That myth has been disproven by the millions who follow the ketogenic lifestyle and Dr. William Davis's Wheat Belly diet by getting the wheat out of their meals and menus.

Ketogenesis (the creation of use of fat) demonstrates from the millions of weight loss winners in videos throughout YouTube videos and the studies from those who follow Dr. William Davis's Wheat Belly books and dietary advice. It is rather like Dr. Adkins when he used his medical knowledge to guide people into the Adkins lifestyle and diet. As someone who once lost weight quickly, but not definitively because I went back to eating the way I had been trained and taught and the weight returned with a vengeance. That was back before the days of the Internet and YouTube and my much weaker will. I didn't need to have a strong will to keep following the diet, but I didn't drop the wheat or the cereal grains until about a year ago. That is when I also found Dr. William Davis's books about the wheat belly diet and the facts about the bread that I thought was as necessary as the advice about making my own bread and I didn't have to wait a long time or follow a method that meant taking hours waiting for the bread to rise.

I have learned a lot since then, but I had to take time to decide if I was going to give up baking my own wheat bread. It took a week, but I decided I wanted to be healthy and lose weight so I gave up the bread (baking and using or eating) without a second glance. It took a while to give up oats because I love oatmeal cake (especially Beanie's recipe from my Grandma May). That was hard, but losing weight was more important. I should have learned 40 years ago, but even with the Adkins diet, I didn't know about the ketogenic lifestyle or how quick the weight would fall off -- or rather melt off. I am firmly on the ketogenic lifestyle plan, except for the Meals on Wheels delivery which relies heavily on whole wheat bread and pasta. So much for the veggie meal. I prefer the days when the entree consists of vegan burgers and/or sausage patties. The only off-putting part is that the vegan burgers include corn and for the nutritionists that put together the healthy MOW meals (veggie or regular) and that means they have not yet found out that rice, wheat, corn, and oats are cereal grains that are the source of almost all of our health ills, including cancer and arthritis, not to mention psoriasis, obesity, and diabetes.

The myth about fat being hard on your heart and making you fat is dying hard even with the scientific evidence that rules out statins and blood pressure lowering medicine, not to mention the myths about diabetes and obesity. It is much like the movie I watched earlier today Old Dracula where David Niven, Count Valdimir aka Count Dracula who resurrected his wife by giving her an infusion of blood collected from unwilling but suitable donors. Made in 1974, the makers of Old Dracula can be forgiven for underscoring the old myth famous in the South that a single drop of black (African-American) blood would make the person black. David Niven is the quintessential gentleman and he didn't bat an eye or shrink from his revived bride -- a rejuvenated and beautiful Teresa Graves with her stylish and tasteful afro hairdo. She went along with Dracula's plans and got into her newly rejuvenated self by getting down with her bad self and dancing in a style that even David Niven could follow, but wasn't quite down with.

Ms. Graves hammed it up with her own style and taste and didn't stint on the black talk or her changed look (being black instead of white). This was in the days following the civil rights demonstrations and Hollywood cashing in on the black wave in the wake of the civil rights demonstrations. Ms. Graves chose her own way of making her point and decided against the Black Panthers' violence or the demonstrations by her black peers suddenly under the hot spotlight center stage. She is an actress after all and she was riding the crest of the wave. The myth about a single drop of black blood making you black is the focus of this particular movie, but even Sir David Niven went along with the point of the movie, even at last being turned black by a bite from his newly black wife. I would say that Sir David Niven handled black face with his usual charm and gentlemanly demeanor when it was revealed that he had also turned black.

I would call foul on the ending of Old Dracula since Ms. Graves had bitten many white men and women during the course of the movie and only her husband, Count Vladimir, was affected and turned black. I would also cite Blacula released 2 years before Old Dracula and again in 2010 when Blacula took to the television series and continued to menace the population in prime time. At no time did William Marshall turn his white female or male victims black even though he was raised through voodoo and set loose on the populace as Mamuwalde.

Well, there was no mention of black blood in the Blacula series turning victims black, and I do believe Blacula killed victims and didn't turn many -- or any -- victims so it wasn't an issue -- then or now. Blacula was revived in the series from 1995, but I doubt Hollywood had not yet invaded or changed the Dracula myth created by Irishman, Bram Stoker.

The point is that myths take time to die and the truth to become well known enough to stamp out the myths, which are then resurrected when some rebel decides it is best to bring back the myth. People are gullible and are easily molded by good writers and mythmakers. That is why it takes a long time and a lot of hard work and many believers to stamp out a myth. After all, myths live and die, not by truth, but by the power of those propping up the myths and by how rich the myth will make the creators -- like the FDA, nutritionists, and the food pyramid. That is when myths die the hardest and take the longest time dying in the hot spotlight of truth. That is why nutritionists and writers making the most out of the myths and propagating new myths to keep the myths going. That is why nutritionists on Recipe Rehab keep using the scientifically proven and outdated FDA food pyramid keep hyping their myths -- because myths take a long time to die in the spotlight of truth. Nutritionists who are making good money from their myth-laden beliefs are not going down without a fight and certainly not without the backing of the American Medical Association which has been paying off their shills with lots of perks. The AMA is not out to help people or they would have left Big Pharma in the dust because Big Pharma has bigger and better perks than AMA provide for their shills and the AMA is out for the money and don't give a damn about Hippocrates' oath or the first line of the vow physicians no longer swear -- to do no harm.

The Bill Cosby Effect

Bill Cosby, that fatherly entertainer, was a rapist. He was judged and will be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

Like many of you, I enjoyed Bill Cosby as an entertainer, an actor who played family man, Dr. Huxtable, but I did not enjoy knowing that hat Bill Cosby was also a sexual predator and had sexually assaulted (raped) 60 women. Cosby's money bought him freedom from the allegations for decades, but the fact is that Bill Cosby was guilty of rape.

Rape is when one person takes sexual advantage of another, usually a man taking sexual advantage of a woman. It is the Harvey Weinstein effect. Weinstein used his power in Hollywood to use women as Kleenex, as victims, pitting their desire for a career in Hollywood against his power to make that Hollywood career happen for them. Rape is all about power over the powerless with women often playing the victim to a man's lust and power. They have no power, some of which they have given away in order to make themselves rich and famous, most of which doesn't happen. That is what the #MeToo movement is all about -- changing the playing field, putting victims in charge of their own lives at last.

Yes, when Bill Cosby drugged his lovers he committed rape. He won't acknowledge that fact, but it is a FACT.

Yes, he is old, but he committed these rapes for decades in the wake of his rising fame from the Robert Culp TV show, I Spy, in which he was teamed with Culp as the other half of a team. We cannot let Cosby go free just because he has lived his life and has become rich doing so while committing rape, even with women who had welcomed their sexual liaisons but were drugged into insensibility and raped by Cosby. Yes, it is rape when Cosby drugged them to have his wicked way with them, even though he had a consensual relationship with them at the time. A consensual relationship is only possible when the other person can agree and say yes to whatever the other person proposes while the woman in this case is able to say yes. When her voice and mind are stilled with drugs it is the same thing as when someone in a bar is hitting on you and uses drugs to put you in a more conducive frame of mind -- like with Roofies (Rohypnol).

In such a case the person who gave the victim Rohypnol circumvented the victim's normal responses and took advantage of his/her drugged state. That is the same thing that Cosby did when he drugged his consensual lovers in order to exert his power over them while they were in the throes of the drug. The drug doesn't matter. The fact is that Cosby rendered them compliant and thus took away their right to speak out and say yes or no. In that case, what he did was rape his victims.

I remember seeing an interview with a young woman who was Cosby's lover at the time and she said that she would have agreed, but he never gave her the chance, preferring to drug her into submission and then taking sexual advantage of her.

The worm has turned and women can finally get justice when a man rapes them or sexually assaults them. Cosby learned that his money didn't protect him -- and now it is time for politicians, no matter who they are or what high office they hold, to finally get the justice that their victims deserve.

That includes Bill Clinton when it comes to raping Juanita Broadrick. Clinton was president, but he was merely the governor of Arkansas when he raped Broadrick. He should be brought to justice, take his turn in the hot seat, and plead his case before a trial of his peers -- without his wife, Hillary, to defend his actions or plead his case before a judge.

There is one law, one law for all men, no matter how high they climb or how rich and famous they become, and that law states that rape is a crime and the rapist -- in the words of Hillary Clinton -- a super predator.

The same is true of sitting president, Donald Trump. If he has raped a woman or women in the past, he must also stand trial.

One law for all.

He will have to take his turn in the hot seat and face his accuser(s). No one gets away. There is not enough money to tear the blindfold from Justice's eyes. She is not dazzled by the money because she cannot see it. She is not dazzled by the fame or high position the accused has attained. She is blind by choice. Justice is blind and each accusor must face her rapist and hear the jury's verdict, not stopping until the criminal (super predator) is found guilty, sentenced, and accused. Bill Clinton thought he was safe, but in this country now with the Weinstein crimes shown in plain view, he was only safe for a while. Neither illness or advancing age, not his wealth, not is fame, and not his money will tear the blindfold from Justice's eyes. Bill Clinton will have to face his accusers and stand trial. Justice will finally be served.

If Donald Clinton raped a woman or took sexual advantage of a woman, then he, too, will have to face his accusers and stand trial. Being president didn't save Clinton and it will not save Trump either.

In the end, one law for all. That is the whole of it.

While we may break God's law with impunity, man's law is not the same. Not as long as man stands up and invokes Justice.

Challlenge

What if I challenged 2 groups of people? Would you join in?

The whole point of the challenge is to find the results of two different styles of eating. One would be the usual prescribed diabetic eating style and the other similar to the prescribed diabetic eating style with a couple of changes -- eating food that is full fat eating restricting only the cereal grain part of the meal.

You could do the challenge to incorporate holidays, like Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. You are allowed all the cream, cheese, and full fat dairy that you wish to eat, but will not be allowed bread, tortillas, or the ubiquitous pies with crusts

Don't rule this out because you won't get pie. That is a fallacy. You will get pie; you just will not get pie crust the old-fashioned way. You will get butter laden, flaky pie crust -- made with coconut flour and coconut meat. The filling will be the kind of fillings you love -- sweet potato, pumpkin, and even custard -- but without the sugar. No processed sugar will be allowed, but you will eat all the vegetables you want perfumed and flavored with butter or cream or whatever else you like.

We are going to turn the FDA food pyramid upside down and the result will be weight gain for some and weight loss (a whole lot o weight loss) for others. You will be eating the same thing the other group is eating, except you will gorge yourself on full fat instead of going low fat. Carbs will count, but not the same way you have been taught. You will get your carbs from well cooked and buttery seasoned vegetables and you can have as many portions as you can eat -- without barfing

For one month you will be eating healthier and better than you ever thought possible and you will lose weight.

How about it? Are you game?

Contact me at fixnwrtr@gmail.com to sign up. There is no cost (except the cost of the food) to join. You may find that your depression, brain fog, memory loss, and other ailments will disappear or lessen. How about it?

Voting Booth

There were some wins and some losses after yesterday's voting. The Dems did not capture Senate and House of Representatives, just the Senate. Dems now have a majority in the Senate, but did not win the full majority as the Republicans did after 4 years of Obama.  Sorry, Dems. Sorry, Obama.

Trump remains in the White House and the Dems are still pissed about it. They hoped that Trump's ill advised tweeting and his lies would do him in. They are still hoping for impeachment.

Still?  Not happening.

I hoped for impeachment when Obama was in office and I hoped for it the entirety of his tenure as POTUS. I'm not ashamed. I am all for the truth -- and Obama had no truth in him. Trump is a businessman and he doesn't have a lot of truth in him, but we accept that. We call him on it when he's way off base, but that is the way with politicians. Like it or not, Trump is a businessman (a used car kind of businessman), but now he is a politician. In short, he lies. He lies a lot, but not to the extent that Obama lied from the get-go.

Obama lied about his experience as a black man in the past. He is not completely or wholly black. He is a bi-racial man. That is a fact. His reported father was a student from Kenya, an alcoholic, and a serial womanizer as evidenced by the number of progeny he seeded in the women he married who gave birth to his progeny.

He lied about where he was born, but it wasn't in Hawaii as he claims, nor do I think he was born in Kenya. He may claim Kenya because his alleged father was from Kenya and there is a lot of controversy and hearsay evidence that goes that way, but I don't believe it. Nor do I think it matters where he was born, but it certainly was not Hawaii as he claimed. He had a woman forge his Hawaiian birth certificate and he posted it in plain sight in public. It has been proven to be forged and it has been shown to be forged. One Hawaiian state official died because of it because she knew for a fact that there was no Hawaiian birth certificate (long or short form) registered in Hawaii.

Because he wasn't born there. It may be because he is a year older than he claims because he was born in Washington state and not the progeny of his mother and Barack Obama, Sr. That is in line with the lies that Obama and his family had told from day 1. It may be true that Stanley Ann Dunham, his biological mother, had in fact been impregnated by Malcolm X and she gave birth in Washington state a year earlier, but we will never know because Barack Obama, Jr. will not tell the truth about his birth, even if it proves he is a natural born American citizen because telling the truth is not Obama's hallmark. He lies. He lies a lot, but telling the truth now would open up a whole can of worms that he would have to chase to the end of his days.

Like where he came from. Like how deep do his ties go into Russia. Like how did he enter the United States without leaving a single trace of a footprint or evidence, evidence that even he could not account for and why he left no trace of his existence until now that he ever existed.

I'm not claiming that he did not make the Law Review or that he didn't attend college, but that he went to college/university as a foreign student and that his ties to Russia go very deep. He is a mole for Russia and trained in Russia because of his alleged father, Barack, Sr., following in HIS footsteps. He is also not Christian. He is a Muslim, but he cannot be a Muslim openly or by Muslim law because he is a homosexual. That is not allowed in Islam. If he admitted the truth he would have to be killed by Muslims -- if not by the whole Islamic nation in a fatwa, but I don't think Obama's fatwa would be as easy to live with as Salman Rushdie's was. I think the Muslims would kill Obama faster than you could blink.

Obama would also have to admit that his "daughters" are not his biological progeny because he probably doesn't sleep with Michelle. He is a homosexual. Homosexuals have slept with women for time out of mind (look at the UK history for proof), but not all homosexuals sleep with woman as easily as they do with men. It is OK to be openly gay in today's world. Look at Colorado. The voters elected an openly gay Republican governor in the voting booth. I never thought I would see that at all, and definitely not from the Republican party. Then again, if the voters can elect Trump president and a bi-racial president, anything is possible at last.

Electing an openly gay Republican governor is easier than Obama and Michelle admitting that they were never pregnant and aren't the biological parents of their often photographed daughters. I doubt their daughters even know or have been told that their Mom's obstetrician and her husband are the biological parents. Good luck getting the paternity test on Maury Povich or Steve Wilkos's programs.

Like I said earlier, Trumps lies are not more heinous than Obama's, and I'm not even going to include "You can keep your insurance" to the list.

Trump is a businessman and he was elected in the country-wide disaffection with the Obama presidency. We swung the other way and elected Trump.

It is a scientific fact -- not like the scientific fudged facts of climate change -- that a reaction will follow, especially a seriously huge reaction, an equal and opposite reaction. Democrats gave us Obama and Republicans responded with Trump instead of Hillary Clinton. Talk about a huge opposite reaction. It's like we got Clinton in the White House and the opposite reaction was George W. Bush. WE got a pig in a poke, but we had Bush for two terms, which gave us Obama for two terms. We didn't want Hillary for even one term, so we got Trump. Whether he will be a lame duck will be determined how bad he does and how badly out of step Democrats really are. We will see when we go to the voting booth in 2020.

That is all. Disperse.

Climate change is a phony boondoggle and Al Gore is a greedy liar

So is Barack Obama -- a greedy liar.

When will people crying "effects of climate change" without admitting that they are working from models that were (and are) created with an inherent flaw -- they are wrong? How about using an accurate model that has been in existence using data from as far back as 1920 and that remains accurate to the present date? That climate model accurately shows that there is not a runaway greenhouse gas effect and that man has impacted the world model with noticeable effect, but not the disastrous and calamitous effect proclaimed by US President Barack Obama and touted by the Democratic left. Instead, Obama and his Yes choir have been touting the effects of 31 (or thereabouts) incorrect, flawed, and fudged data that has appeared in US newspapers for the past decade. That is not science. That is the heart of the Al Gore Climate Change boondoggle that has been promoted, touted, and exhorted since his book about climate change (and the movie that accompanied his book and won him the Nobel Peace Prize - another debacle). Al Gore's movie, An Inconvenient Truth, was shown to be as false as the models the US has been working from and spreading since Al Gore jumped on the band wagon and he and the kowtowing left began lying.

How about some truth for a change -- a real inconvenient truth?

The 31+/- computer models that have the planet in free fall from man-made climate change don't work, have never worked, and will never work until actual scientific data has been used instead of the fudged The only true scientific model is from Russia (now there's the Russia connection) and remains the only accurate computer model of man-made climate change ever documented. How about hearing the truth for a change? How about showing the Russian model and cluing mankind in to the real truth? Really inconvenient for the Al Gore/Barack Obama contingent, isn't it? Now that would be inconvenient if the rest of the populace on this planet had access to real scientific data, like the Russian computer climate models.

I vote for truth in the scientific community and among the media-saturated western world. Let the truth be shown at last and free us from the clutches of the phony Al Gore who used stock footage and nothing even approaching documentary style footage. His drowning and dying polar bears were stock footage added to make people feel sad and sorry.

Guess what? It worked.

A fool is born every minute -- and anyone who paid movie or spread the lies for Gore and Obama are the fools.

How does it feel being a fool? P. T. Barnum could tell you it made him rich and famous. Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize and knocked out a woman who helped save Jewish children from the concentration camps in Hitler's Europe. Al Gore is the second best con man in US history. Barack Obama is the first and best con man in US history.

Get off cereal grains, like wheat, oats, and rice

One of the residents here, Linda, sat down next to me with a glass of chocolate milk because she had heartburn. Basically she suffers from reflux.

I should've told her that all she needs to do is get rid of the cereal grains in her diet, but she, like so many people, probably wouldn't and don't listen to me when it comes to diet.

More's the pity. Ditch the cereal grains and reflux and many of the diseases we consider taking medicine for would disappear and we would be healthier. BB doesn't listen to me -- and has gone from pre-diabetic to full blow diabetes and continues to take her statin drugs and blood pressure lowering meds. I've advised her to follow the Wheat Belly diet, but she ignores me, which is why her A1c was 14 and her blood sugar was over 400.

Maybe I should've told Linda, but I've had bad luck telling people to go ketogenic that I keep my mouth shut. BB would laugh at that -- if she was still talking to me, which she isn't. She cut me out of her life when I posted online that I was censoring myself at her request -- urging. Oh, well.

Linda drank her chocolate milk and I kept my mouth shut that she would get rid of her problem if she stopped eating cereal grains. BB will miss that part of the conversation -- and this one -- because she cut me out of the family again. I doubt she ever reads my blogs. She certainly ignores my advice.

My A1c is very low, almost not detectable, and I have had no diabetes since I went ketogenic. It works. My pants, the ones she and my cousin Laura bought me Labor Day keep falling down, stopped by my thick calves, where the pants stop falling when they get caught on my calves.

I've always had ugly legs. It's a given and I don't worry about it. At least I won't lose my pants like Laura did when she competed at a band concert when she walked out of her far too large band pants. She had another pair of pants on beneath the band pants. I have my thick calves so I won't walk out of my pants. I also won't get an award for my having walked out of my pants either.

Statin drugs and blood pressure lowering drugs (not to mention diabetes) would be cured if BB paid attention and got on a ketogenic diet. BB cannot give up her pasta. No wonder she's gotten fat and has diabetes. Her doctor will prescribe more drugs and she will take them, but wouldn't have to if she just read the numerous posts I send her written by Dr. William Davis or listened to me to get off the diabetes train by going ketogenic and tossing all cereal grains -- and pasta -- in the bin. Linda would never have heartburn if I had told her that she could cure her heartburn by cutting out the cereals (wheat, rice, corn, oats, etc.) in her diet. Reflux -- like diabetes -- would respond by simply getting off the cereal grain train.

I love the ketogenic diet. I can eat all the fats I need (and like) and I can have as many veggies as I please. I eat more vegetables without the Meals on Wheels version of a veggie diet (heavy with pasta and mini pizzas). I eschew such horrible carb-heavy choices and keep drinking water and eat fat and real vegetables without their carb-heavy offering. Good thing too or I would be battling the diabetes lifestyle and pricking my finger 3x a day for the rest of my life. I'm glad that's behind me because I paid attention and cured my diabetes once and for all. Give me an avocado and a spoon and I'll be happy for the rest of the day.

Think about it. You can cure diabetes (your statins and high blood pressure) by going ketogenic. Eat your vegetables, slather them with butter, and enjoy.

That is all. Disperse.

Bathroom Tales

I guess it is time I get personal.

Here are the facts of my own existence.

I am hypothyroid. In layman's terms, it means that my thyroid is underactive and I gain weight very easily. Surprise if anyone has seen how fat I have become. I have tried may diets, including the Aids diet my mother put me on at age 10 because I was too fat (in her estimation). And so I gobbled up the sugary cubes and followed her version of a diet -- little to no food (none without her daily/hourly shaming of how much I ate). Please keep in mind that I was a growing child and hoping to continue to grow (not sideways as she claimed constantly).

I spent a lot of time outside, mostly with the neighbors from across the street. Boys in my Mom's eyes were the same as being boy crazy -- even when I was climbing trees or playing at being Indians (back in the days before PC language and the Indians had become Native Americans. Black people were colored and so forth.

I was immune to poison ivy, though I didn't know it at the time, but everyone got poison ivy, even BB and Isinacrab and the Mushroom, who was simply Bowling Ball Belly which drooped over his shorts while the back of his shorts hung long. He was a nuisance, but he was a younger brother, like any other younger brother, who played with  Mackie who lived next door and my brother's age. His parents also own a Corvair, but that was in the days long before auto makers found out that Corvairs were a fire hazard if hit in the rear. Personally, I loved the car and wished to be old enough to be able to drive a car, any car. I loved and still love the look of a convertible Corvair, though I've not seen many since 1969.

As someone who is plagued with hypothyroidism and the impending fat that would soon balloon up around me, going to the bathroom was a chore. I was plagued with large stools, many of which left blood in the toilet bowl and on the TP with which I wiped myself. It hurt LIKE HELL.

Often after dinner and before bed, I had to line up for Mom to dose me with Castoria. It smelled like root beer (yum) which is why even today I gag when I smell root beer -- not so much as an adult. I merely take a whiff, stifle my urge to barf, and say, "No, thank you."

Castoria eventually became  some other preparation. I never let things get to the stage where I, like my Mom, took Ex-Lax or suffered with constipation for days. I drank a lot of water and suffered (silently, so I thought) in silence -- or until Mom caught sight of the blood on the TP, which may have been why she delivered the talk while I sat on the toilet in the bathroom.

"Don't worry," she said when I hurriedly threw the TP with its blood stain into the toilet and rapidly flushed. "Don't worry if you wipe and find blood on the paper," she said.

I hadn't flushed fast enough or successfully hid the telltale blood on the paper from her at all.

She misread the situation. It wasn't from the other place, but from my backside.

"Okay," I muttered since she stopped talking at that point.

"Oh, no," she said. "I know it's from your backside. I meant if you wipe and see blood on the paper from the front."

I was suddenly riveted.

"What?"

"I mean you will have become a woman when there's blood on the paper one day. Not today. I'll get the Castoria," she said.

My mouth flooded with saliva and I nearly gagged before I slipped out the bathroom door. I didn't want to be dosed again, not with the root beer smelling Castoria. If I got out of her sight fast enough she might forget about the dosing and I'd be home free.

Not to happen. Not that day and not that night before I dressed for bed that night. She presented herself with the bottle and a spoon. I was caught. She was going to dose me. And dose me she did with the gagging and shivers and begging for a big glass of water.

"It's not that bad," she chided me after she pulled the spoon from my mouth and recapped the Castoria. She put the bottle away and I slunk up the stairs having been dosed.

At least Castoria was momentarily gross and wouldn't wake me in the middle of the night with an urgent need to go to the bathroom where my bowels would turn themselves inside out and the stool would flow freely with only a small, hard to pass lump from the Ex-Lax. I actually hated that far more than the gagging from the Castoria.

You see, Mom knew about laxatives and used them frequently -- far too frequently if you asked me. Her lavish use of laxatives resulted in severe constipation (on her part) and the unmuffled complaints when she finally had a normal bowel movement (she called the BMs). As she got older, she would get so backed up with constipation she was often hospitalized for not going and had to be disimpacted by the nurse or doctor and spend a few days in the hospital until her bowels were clear. Once she had to have a hunk of small bowel moved surgically (about 18 inches), and I believed it was because she was that full of sh*it. Her eyes were hazel so the levels had gone down considerably.

I don't know if I ever got that constipated. My eyes are blue and clear, so probably not. I got dosed and all was well. I had the occasional bout of constipation, but I didn't tell Mom to avoid having to gag on that root beer smelling Castoria. I don't use laxatives at all -- not unless I'm in the hospital and the doctors and nurses force me to take Ex-Lax or mag citrate or some such laxative. And I don't even take Colace any more -- not since I vowed I'd not take medicines unless forced.

I was recently in the hospital/Rehab and found out that the antidepressant they had forced on me was causing constipation. How did I know? The blood in the bowl and the ripping feeling of yet another BM scoring the walls of my colon as it was forced to be evacuated. I whimpered and then wiped myself until I stopped bleeding. I explained to the nurse that I would not take another antidepressant because I wasn't depressed and not suicidal. She suggested putting me on something to ease the constipation. I said NO. I'll cure it by drinking apple and/or prune juice, but I will not take any medication.

I got my way. I drank apple or prune juice with every meal (a small 4 ounce glass) and began to defecate with ease. I'd won the battle. I wouldn't have to take Colace, which they forgot to give me, or at least took me at my word and let me heal myself with apple/prune juice. My juice regimen did not cure me -- or heal the constipation quickly, but it did work. Soon I was no longer constipated and there was no more blood on the paper or in the bowl. I had triumphed.

I finally knew why I had given my children apple juice. It wasn't just to keep them quiet with a dose of sugary sweet juice as I thought, but because it was a natural laxative and they never had to go through what I did when I was a child.

They never had to gag whenever they smelled root beer and didn't struggle on the toilet either. I hope they figured out that natural methods are the best and maybe they do know that I gave them apple juice to keep them regular.

Too late now. They are in their 40s and I'm sure they have figured out how to go without straining or ending up with hemorrhoids. I don't know. I haven't asked them. They also haven't told me come to that.

But back to my poison ivy immunity. I did forget the rest of that story as I discovered while I sat on the toilet a moment ago -- voiding and not defecating.

All of the Alexander kids got poison ivy when we slept out in their back yard. They scratched and whined and complained of their itches while their mother dabbed calamine lotion on their poison ivy eruptions. I never had to dab calamine on my itches because I had none. I wasn't covered in poison ivy eruptions, not one. I was immune. I didn't know until that day and I've not had a single bout of poison ivy or poison oak in my life. Maybe it's a natural immunity, That's only fair when I've had my share of diseases and such. I've dabbed calamine lotion on my boys because they don't share my immunity. At least I got something good from the DNA roulette wheel when I was born and I'm glad.

I've also since discovered that by getting off all cereal grains (wheat, rice, oats, rye, corn, etc.) my bathroom times are not spent by taking laxatives or even straining and groaning while on the toilet. That is one of the best things about being ketogenic and eating a lot of fat and vegetables. Ooh, but I love my butter and it loves me too. I have continued to lose weight, even though I prefer the veggie meal from Meals on Wheels (MOW). Unfortunately, the veggie meals come with a huge helping of either an entree receptacle of mashed potatoes and their floury gravy, which I don't eat. They add a slice of wheat bread, which I don't eat, and insist on either Mac and cheese or some other pasta concoction as an entree while I make do with a few green beans and avoid the corn at all times.

My stools slip right out and I don't have to strain or whine or suffer any blood or trouble passing my BMs. In my estimation, following a ketogenic or vegetarian diet (as long as you don't add pasta, bread, or any other version of cereal grain) will improve your bathroom experience. The BMs will slip out of you without laxatives or even apple juice (I suggest apple juice without sugar or the kind that is reconstituted with water because it comes from have been concentrated). Same for prune juice -- no sugar and no concentrated source. Just plain, old apple juice or prune juice and get rid of all the cereal grains in your diet. Your bowels will thank me. And you will never need a chemical boost or rely on Western medicine to get rid of constipation.

Vegetables and fat to your heart's content. Have at it and be grateful there are busybodies like me blazing the trails for you.

That is all. Disperse.
